Castro spearheaded the popular revolution that overthrew Cuban then dictator Fulgencio Batista. From 1959-2008, Castro served as Cuba's president and revolutionary leader. Signed by FIDEL CASTRO in bold, blue ink-- next to design-photograph of a large, carved statue of a strong worker holding a small, dependent child.
