Kansas City, Kansas October 13th, 1922: "The ninth grade classes went on a hike to Quindaro Ruins. Our class went with Miss Schaich. We got on the Tenth Street car at Tenth and Ivandale Ave..." January 5th 1923: The ninth grade classes went to the poultry show in Kansas City, Missouri at Convention Hall... ...When we entered Convention Hall, the first thing we saw was the chickens. There were about fifty different breeds of chickens... ...There was a stall with a cow in it and tacked to the stall was a sign that read, "The Hairless Dog", but when we looked in there was only a frankfurter..." Some condition issues with a damaged spine and foxing. Irene graduated from the University of Kansas. She retired after teaching in the Kansas City, Kansas, School District for 32 years. Died in 2000 at age 90. Approx 6x9 inches
